Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Midwest
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and maintain route efficiency
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients and vendors
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (CDL-A/B training provided)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with smartphone technology
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- No commercial experience required - we train motivated candidates
- Must be 21+ years old with reliable transportation
