Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26ft) for local/regional freight deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided GPS
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable personal box truck and commercial insurance
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Reno/Sparks area routes
