Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring all cargo is properly secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations or DUIs.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation tools.
