Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles over various routes in Santa Ana and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Training available for qualified candidates).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
