Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport freight safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving time, mileage, and cargo status in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and address any route changes.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Paid training is available for qualified candidates with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) must be obtained.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred (but not required for paid training track).
- Clear MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations (e.g., DUI, Reckless Driving) in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
