Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Safely load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Navigate complex routes and manage time efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and reporting.
