Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight between Laredo distribution centers and regional destinations
- Pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle maintenance documentation
- Load/unload shipments with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Laredo metro area and border routes
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable transportation to/from worksite
