Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Virginia and surrounding regions
- Adapt delivery schedules to accommodate personal commitments with our flexible hour system
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation for compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with proven flexibility in scheduling
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
