Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial vehicles for freight transport across designated routes
- Inspect and maintain assigned equipment daily to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload freight efficiently using company-provided tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and regulations
- Basic mechanical aptitude for pre/post-trip inspections
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends
- Must be at least 23 years of age
