Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial trucks for freight transportation
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic data
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate delivery status and potential delays to dispatch and clients
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and fleet management software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
