Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Secure cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, shippers, and dock personnel to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle issues.
