Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
