Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) to transport freight
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and DOT compliance
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Arizona terrain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
