Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across Omaha metro area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for efficient load/unload operations
- Manage delivery documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean and organized truck appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably with dump trucks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance
