Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, asphalt, construction debris)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip safety checks
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Minor equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance awareness
- Represent company professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for pre-trip inspections
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
