Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport packages to customers within Sacramento
- Manage route optimization to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Load/unload packages efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and resolve delivery exceptions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Flexibility to work during early morning hours (4 AM-10 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for delivery documentation
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
