Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across New York metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/during routes for compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time updates
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Communicate delivery status to clients and warehouse staff
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license required
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with NYC boroughs and highway systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or early mornings
