Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport construction materials
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Load/unload materials at construction sites and distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adapt routes based on real-time traffic and project demands
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Familiarity with Richmond metro area roads
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
