Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries across Chicago using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service through timely, professional interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues efficiently
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism and brand integrity
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles up to 10,000 lbs GVWR
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Proven time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
