Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers over-the-road (OTR) and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and logbook documentation
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle condition pre/post-trip
- Secure, load, and unload freight with precision care
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding status updates
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong defensive driving skills and safety record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable weather conditions
- Basic navigation and smartphone proficiency
