Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on designated routes across NYC boroughs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and meet delivery windows
- Handle cash transactions and verify delivery confirmations
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs in buildings
- Strong knowledge of NYC geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps for navigation and delivery tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening
