Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on designated routes throughout the Memphis area.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery confirmation paperwork, and digital records.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a related field.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
- Strong time management skills and a proven track record of punctuality.
- Basic proficiency with handheld GPS devices and smartphone applications.
