Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods along designated routes across Chicago metro area
- Load/unload deliveries with precision and care, ensuring inventory accuracy
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and handle customer interactions with professionalism
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Basic computer literacy for delivery documentation systems
