Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization and delivery coordination
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures and freight security protocols
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Document delivery receipts and resolve shipment discrepancies professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (minimum 3 years experience)
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (required for certain routes)
- Proven ability to navigate complex urban and mountainous terrains
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
