Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for local and regional freight transport
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
