Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites
- Transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, soil) to designated locations
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and safety documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and Alaska state transportation laws
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient material delivery
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of Anchorage area and Alaskan road conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Physical ability to climb equipment and work in extreme weather
