Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials at job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Navigate complex routes and deliver materials on tight schedules
- Report mechanical issues and perform minor preventative maintenance
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with foremen and site supervisors for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area and construction zones
- DOT medical certification and physical stamina for long shifts
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Background check and drug screening required
