Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate assigned routes using GPS technology
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during package delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any vehicle/service issues
- Follow all traffic laws and Amazon safety standards while on duty
- Meet daily delivery quotas and maintain on-time performance metrics
- Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery scanning apps
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
