Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, dirt) between job sites and quarries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch and ground crews for efficient loading/unloading
- Manage route planning to meet tight project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must be physically capable of climbing in/out of equipment frequently
