Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites and industrial zones
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for project documentation
- Coordinate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules and efficiency
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Proven dump truck operation experience in construction/industrial settings
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville area routes and traffic patterns
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
