Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, soil) to designated sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Collaborate with site supervisors and ground crews for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years' dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Physical capability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Honolulu traffic patterns and construction zones
