Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for construction material transport (dirt, gravel, asphalt)
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete daily logs
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations
- Coordinate with foremen on job sites for timely loading/unloading
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and report maintenance needs
- Follow GPS routing and optimize fuel efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- DOT medical certification current
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Pass background/drug screening
