Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites and public roads
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials (gravel, asphalt, demolition debris) using proper equipment protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for efficient scheduling
- Manage paperwork including delivery tickets and daily mileage reports
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and basic operational hygiene
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in operating tandem axle and end-dump configurations
- Familiarity with Seattle-area traffic patterns and construction zones
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
