Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites and industrial routes
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Secure and unload materials using proper safety protocols
- Document delivery reports and maintain clean, organized paperwork
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with New Orleans metro area transportation routes
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load securement
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedule
