Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials to/from job sites
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient routing
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as needed
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance policy for violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Physical fitness for climbing equipment and handling materials
- Proficient in using GPS and route planning tools
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding regions
