Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport gravel, sand, asphalt, and other construction materials
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload materials at job sites using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adapt routes based on traffic conditions and project timelines
- Maintain clean, well-functioning equipment through basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for seamless operations
- Adhere to all safety standards and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
