Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
