Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles over-the-road and regional routes
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-sensitive and hazardous materials
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California weight laws and mountain driving
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices
- Strong communication and time-management skills
