Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in all weather and road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily logs (DOT compliant) and delivery paperwork.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
- Navigate effectively using GPS and route planning software to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
