Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package and document deliveries across Milwaukee and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests using GPS tracking systems
- Verify recipient identities and obtain proper signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and secure cargo during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
