Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other drivers.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Accurately sort and load cargo, ensuring fragile items are handled with care.
- Follow all traffic laws, route maps, and delivery schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Handle cash and digital transactions for deliveries, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Reliable access to a vehicle for shift flexibility (if applicable) or willingness to use company fleet.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
