Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, medical specimens, and confidential documents using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication at all delivery points
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize routes for maximum efficiency
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with loading/unloading operations while following proper handling protocols
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies during all operations
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs/delivery locations
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and surrounding communities
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to start/end points and consistent punctuality
- Background check and drug screen required for employment
