Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations within San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery interactions
- Operate company-provided vehicles (vans or box trucks) with care and efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintaining organized cargo spaces
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B or C) preferred
- 1+ years of professional driving or delivery experience
- Strong knowledge of San Jose streets and Bay Area geography
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
