Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive documents and packages throughout New Orleans metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
