Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and within schedule.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and safety regulations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routing requirements.
