Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided freight trucks across regional routes
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes using company-provided GPS technology
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist in training new drivers on equipment operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with Hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
