Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer units in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Load and secure cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR (Over-The-Road) driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to cross state lines and adhere to strict schedules.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and perform manual tasks.
