Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Commercial Vehicles: Drive our modern, well-maintained trucks in a safe and efficient manner on assigned routes.
- Ensure On-Time Delivery: Adhere to strict delivery schedules and ensure all cargo is handled with care and delivered to the correct destination.
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, loading docks, and the public while maintaining a positive company image.
- Maintain Fleet Cleanliness: Keep the tractor and trailer in pristine condition, inside and out, reflecting our premium standards.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary delivery paperwork, bills of lading, and daily logs (DVIR).
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL: Current Commercial Driver's License with the proper endorsements required.
- Clean MVR Record: No major violations within the last 3-5 years (no DUI, reckless driving, or at-fault accidents).
- Professional Appearance: Must present a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and endure long hours of standing and walking.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with dispatch and customers.
- Technology Proficiency: Basic understanding of GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD).
