Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Document delivery reports and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain training)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and overnight routes
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status
