Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across the Southeast region
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing and on-time deliveries
- Assist with secure loading/unloading procedures using proper equipment
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Driver's License (CDL training provided if unlicensed)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb into trailer beds
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Flexible schedule availability including overnight trips
- No DUI/DWI convictions within past 5 years
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat endorsement after training
